Prague, Czech Republic

Looking to travel Europe but are someone who is on a budget? Prague is definitely the place to hit up. From its beautiful architecture, to the sights and sounds you are definitely going to want to check it out. It also has a astronomical clock that has been working since 1410. Also if you are a food lover make sure try the goulash and grab a Pilsner beer. We personally recommend traveling during the Christmas season in order to see the markets and enjoy some yummy hot mulled wine. Continue Here!

How We Did Our Quick Trip to Prague

Where We Ate

As two people who both love food but want to live a healthy lifestyle we need to maintain a balance of indulgence and health. We have been living outside of the States for 10 months now. So when we found out there was a Mexican restaurant in Prague with good reviews and a burrito, we knew we had to make a stop. Granted, it doesn’t compare to the real deal. BUT, my oh my did it satisfy those cravings and make two people happy! Continue Here!

When talking about what is the best hammock for someone new to hammocking there are always a lot of worry. What is the best, or will last the longest, or is the smallest? Cheapest Cities in Europe to Visit

When most people write about cheap European travel, they usually tend to leave out most of Eastern Europe. That is a terrible mistake to make, because this region houses some of the cheapest cities in Europe. Infograph of Cheapest European Cities

We are currently living in Ukraine about four hours from Kiev (the cheapest European city to visit).  For those of you who do not know how to convert pounds to dollars, 15 pounds is roughly 20 dollars. So in Kiev according to this chart, it will cost you about $20 a day, which is a steal! But it gets better, we never go to Kiev because it is too expensive  for us compared to our town! In Ukraine outside of Kiev, Lviv, and Ivano Frankivsk you could easily live on $10-15 a day. Continue Here!

Disney World Planning Tips

Ah, Disney World, land of unrealistic expectations about love, and extremely happy workers and like us, Disney is where all little kids at heart want to start their adventures. In the winter of 2016 Emily and I began recording our journeys so that when we finally started our blog (this blog) we would remember all the amazing things we have done and all the amazing things we want to share. In May of that year I graduated from college and when asked what I would do next I simply responded “I’m going to Disney World!” Continue Here!

The Power of “Yes”

If you don’t read anything else in our blog I hope you at least read this post. This is the single largest piece of advice I can give on how to live an adventurous fulfilling life. And it will blow your mind. The secret? Say “=&0=&.” To anything and everything….well within your own limits obviously. You will be surprised how much the world opens up to you if you just accept it. Emily and I spent three months working on a farm in Hawaii (which will be covered in a later post) and I originally told Emily, “No, there is no way we can do that, yet alone afford it. But, as she always does, she changed my mind and I said “Yes”. If you go to a new place, or meet new people and someone asks you if you want to see something in the town or if you want to go to a bar, (if you are comfortable and they aren’t creepy) GO. I have eaten some of the best, cheapest, and most interesting food in my life by trusting the people that live in the area. Granted, not every time is a success. Somethings are just terrible, boring, or not something you find interesting. But in my experience even those make for a hell of a story. And yes, this blog is about how to do amazing things, be spontaneous, and cross things off your bucket list while still staying on a budget and planning. Throughout this blog you will see why these things are not contradictions. Plan, but be ready to completely scrap the plan if an opportunity arises. The bottom line is that MOST people are not trying to ruin your day. Most people want to help. LET THEM. Be bold, be brave be adventurous.
